Lesson Recap 2/4

Good Morning Dancers!

I'm sorry, we have no video recap of last night's class. Captain Pajamas was out sick, and with him, the video camera. We'll try again next week.

BUT, as a quick reminder to those of you who attended, this is what went down: We did some drills in solo movement (walks, groove walks, triple steps, all with and without turns) to focus on balance, pulse, and rhythm. Phil took the beginners out to the lobby for some sweet lovin' I mean Lindy Hop basics. I had the intermediate class do an April Fool's Gender Bender, with ladies leading and gentlemen following. The goal was to give everyone a glimpse of how the dance feels from the other side of the connection.

That's all for this week, except to reiterate my enthusiastic WELCOME to new students Allison, Frank, Barbara, and Eva! (Ava?) Hope to see everyone back next week!
